            What is a Kitchen Display System (KDS)

            A kitchen display system, also known as a KDS, is a digital screen that replaces printed or handwritten orders in kitchens. Within Dripos, this is referred to as the Point of Sale ticket screen.

            All Dripos tablets can be utilized as a ticket screen, in addition to being a register, time clock, kiosk, etc.

            Example KDS

            Here's an example of a KDS in use:

            New tickets will appear in the Received Tickets column. Tickets that are being worked on will move to the In-Progress Tickets column after being manually moved by the arrows, or if one of the products in the order is checked off.

            The number of tickets in each column will be listed in parentheses.
