It can also be used to sell physical gift cards, redeem existing ones, and link SKUs to current products. Ensure your Inateck BCST-70 barcode scanner is fully charged and powered on. We recommend keeping the User Guide handy during setup. Digital barcodes displayed on phones, computers or tablets cannot be read. The barcodes shown on this page are for reference only. You can find and print a copy of the manual from the [Inateck website.](https://cdn.shopifycdn.net/s/files/1/0623/5809/4063/files/BCST-70_Manual-V15.pdf?v=1648437814) Scan the **Enter Setup** and **Bluetooth Pairing** barcodes in the User Guide. Navigate to your iPad settings, select **Bluetooth** pair the barcode scanner. The scanner will show up as BCST-70. The barcode scanner will beep once the Bluetooth connection is successful. If Bluetooth connection is disrupted, the barcode scanner will sound two short tones. To add more barcode types, scan the \[Enter Setup] barcode and use the Function Setup Barcodes page. Common barcode types like Code 128, Code 39 and UPC are preloaded in the default setting of the scanner. When finished adding the barcodes, make sure to save your changes by scanning the **Exit with Save** barcode. Log in to the Point of Sale. Press the **tribar (≡)** at the top left of the screen. Press the **settings icon (⚙️)** Navigate to **Register Settings** > enable **Bluetooth Bar Code Scanner** and select the **Barcode Scanner Host Device** Navigate to **Advanced Settings** > **Restart App**. Your Bluetooth barcode scanner is now ready to be used! Use the barcode scanner to update barcodes, assign new barcodes to existing products and quickly add items to cart. Scan a product's barcode to add it to Dripos. If this pop up is not appearing, navigate to **Advanced Settings** > press **Restart App** and try again! Once the barcode is assigned to a product, the product will automatically be added to cart when scanned next. Sell physical gift cards or search for existing gift cards with a bar code scanner. The Bluetooth barcode scanner cannot scan digital gift cards. You can use the Stripe card reader or the iPad to scan digital gift card barcodes. When selling a physical gift card, click the **Scan** button next to the gift card number field. When redeeming physical gift cards, click the **Scan** button next to the gift card number field. On the Dashboard click **Menu** > **Products** Find the product to assign a barcode to and click **View** Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the **Barcode** tab > click **Edit** Edit the numbers listed on the barcode of the product > click **Save**
