# Patron Chat Overview

> Learn to text your patrons directly through Dripos

Dripos Customer Chats let you message your patrons directly from both the Dashboard and Point of Sale.

## Point of Sale Chats

Send a message directly to a patron or to any phone number.

    If a patron account was added to a transaction, you may message a patron directly from that transaction.

    If a patron account was added to a transaction, you may message a patron directly from the ticket on the KDS.
