# Modifier Dependencies

### Utilizing Modifier Dependencies

Modifier dependencies are used to build a product order based on different modifier selections.

For example:

1. A 24oz drink can only be ordered if the modifier selection for temprature = "Iced"

2. Whipped cream can only be added if the modifier selection for temprature = "Hot"

3. A selection of a type of chip bag can only be selected if the modifier selection for 'Order Combo' = "Yes"

In short, modifier dependencies only display a modifier if a previous modifier selection (dependency) has been made.
