# Front Facing Display Mode on the POS
> Learn how to set up a secondary tablet as a customer-facing Display
Utilizing a Front Facing display, Customers can
View their cart
Redeem loyalty
Select a tip
Select a receipt type

## Configure Devices
**Two tablets** are required:
A register tablet for taking orders
An additional tablet to face customers during checkout
**Complete these steps on the register tablet used by staff to take orders**
Log in to the Point of Sale. Press the **tribar (≡)** at the top left of the screen > press the **settings icon (⚙️)** > press **Front Facing Displays**
Turn on the toggle for “Host Device”
**Complete these steps on the customer facing tablet**
Log in to the Point of Sale. Press the **tribar (≡)** at the top left of the screen > press the **settings icon (⚙️)** > press **Front Facing Displays**
Press **Make Display** > select the host device you've just created to pair with and turn on “Display is Enabled” > press **Save**

## Enter Front Facing Mode
From the customer-facing device:
* Press the **tribar (≡)** at the top left of the screen > press the **settings icon (⚙️)**
* Press **Front Facing Displays**
* Press the **blue pencil icon **
Press **Enter into Front Facing Mode**

## Exiting Front Facing Mode
From the customer-facing device:
Press the **Log in** or **Sign Up** button
In the phone number field, enter the exit PIN: **120398** and press **Cancel**
