Product Discounts
Learn how to create product-specific discounts.
You are able to create discounts that only apply to certain products on your menu through the Dripos Web Dashboard.
You will then be able to select the discount when checking out the product(s) on the Point of Sale register.
Adding Custom Product Discounts
Create Custom Product Discounts on the Web Dashboard
- Log on to the Web Dashboard. Once signed in, select Sales > Discounts:
- Click on the Create button at the top right of the screen > select Product Discount:
- This will prompt a popup to appear with several prompts that you will need to fill out:
Name: Enter the name for the discount.
Discount Type: Select if you want the discount type be to be either a Flat (dollar) or Percentage amount.
Discount Amount: Enter the amount you want the discount to be for. It should either be a dollar amount or percentage amount based on which discount type you selected.
Discount Logo (Optional): Here, you have the option to upload a logo that will appear next to the discount on the POS register.
- Once you have finished filling in all the fields, click Save:
Attach Custom Discounts to Products on the Web Dashboard
- Log on to the Web Dashboard. Once signed in, select Sales > Menu > Products:
- Locate the product you wish to attach a custom discount to > click View:
- Scroll to the bottom of the page > select the Discounts tab > click on the Add Discount button:
- Here, you choose to either Add an Existing Discount or Create a New Product Discount:
Add Existing Discount: If you select this option, choose from the dropdown which discount you want to add to the product > click Add:
Create New Product Discount: If you select this option, follow the steps listed above to create the discount > click Save:
The custom discount button will then appear at the bottom of the product’s page on the Point of Sale register:
Remove Custom Discounts from Products on the Web Dashboard
You are able to remove product discounts from both the Product and Discounts pages on the Web Dashboard.
Remove Custom Discounts via Products Page on the Web Dashboard
- Log on to the Web Dashboard. Once signed in, select Sales > Menu > Products:
- Locate the product you wish to remove a product discount from > click View:
- Scroll to the bottom of the product’s page and select the Discounts tab:
- Locate the discount you want to remove from the product > click on the Edit button to its right > click Remove:
Remove Custom Discounts via Discounts Page on the Web Dashboard
- Log on to the Web Dashboard. Once signed in, select Sales > Discounts:
- Click on the Product Discounts tab > locate the discount you wish to remove from a product > click View:
- Under the Products section of the next page, locate the product you wish to remove the discount from > click on the box to the left of the product’s name > click Remove Discount:
