Learn how to navigate the schedule inside of the employee portal!

In this article, we'll learn how the schedule tab works inside of the employee portal. Everyone can view their shifts, request trades, message someone, and more!

Overview

The 'Schedule' tab can be found in the middle of the bottom navigation inside of the employee portal. Once there, you should see something like this:

The screenshot above includes a few example shifts as well. There are a few places you can tap to navigate this page:

  • At the top of the page, you have the date selector. If you'd like to navigate to a different week, you can tap the arrows on the left and right to go forward/backward a week. To navigate to any week, you can tap the date text in the middle to see a calendar popup. Once you are on the correct week, tap the dates Monday-Sunday to see that specific day's schedule. The day you are viewing will be highlighted by a green circle as shown in the screenshot.
  • In the middle of the page, you will see all the shifts associated with the day you are viewing. Shifts that have been assigned to you will always show up first inside of their own section titled 'My Shifts'. Below this, all shifts for the day will show. You can see the employee, time of the shift, as well as their employee role.

If you'd like to message an employee or initiate a trade request, you can tap on a shift directly on this page.

Trade Requests

Once you've requested a trade for a shift, the employee you've asked to trade with will need to accept the request. They can do this from their profile page inside of the 'Dashboard' tab. After an employee has approved, it will then go to the 'Approval Center' on the partner dashboard for a manager to give final approval on.
