Ensure your Inateck BCST-70 barcode scanner is fully charged and powered on. We recommend keeping the User Guide handy during setup.

Digital barcodes displayed on phones, computers or tablets cannot be read. The barcodes shown on this page are for reference only. You can find and print a copy of the manual from the Inateck website.
Navigate to your iPad settings, select Bluetooth pair the barcode scanner. The scanner will show up as BCST-70. The barcode scanner will beep once the Bluetooth connection is successful.

If Bluetooth connection is disrupted, the barcode scanner will sound two short tones.
To add more barcode types, scan the [Enter Setup] barcode and use the Function Setup Barcodes page.

Common barcode types like Code 128, Code 39 and UPC are preloaded in the default setting of the scanner.
When finished adding the barcodes, make sure to save your changes by scanning the Exit with Save barcode.

Log in to the Point of Sale. Press the tribar (≡) at the top left of the screen. Press the settings icon (⚙️)
Navigate to Register Settings > enable Bluetooth Bar Code Scanner and select the Barcode Scanner Host Device

Sell physical gift cards or search for existing gift cards with a bar code scanner.
The Bluetooth barcode scanner cannot scan digital gift cards. You can use the Stripe card reader or the iPad to scan digital gift card barcodes.
