Discounting Gift Cards

Increasing brand visibility and dealing with difficult patrons are just a few reasons why you might want to discount a gift card or give it out for free all together.

By default, ticket discounts do not apply to gift card purchases on the Point of Sale. Keep reading to discover which setting you can enable in order to succesfully discount gift card purchases.

Discounting Gift Cards on the POS

1. Log on to the Point of Sale. Once signed in, click on the 3 line icon at the top left of the screen > select the gear icon in the bottom right corner:

2. Click on the Global Ticket Options tab:

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page > turn the Apply Discounts To Gift Card Purchases toggle on:

Once you have done this, ticket discounts applied on the POS will also discount gift card purchases.
