Third Party Administrator (TPA) access is a state-level authorization that lets Check Technologies, the filing partner behind Dripos Payroll, file returns, make payments, and communicate with a tax agency on your behalf. Some agencies require you to grant this access yourself before Check can act, and Check cannot complete those grants for you.
Why act promptly? When an agency requires TPA access to file and it hasn’t been granted, your filing is blocked until it’s resolved. Check closes filings several business days before the due date, so grant access well ahead of the deadline to avoid a delayed filing. TPA is a one-time setup per agency.

Agency Requirements

Not every agency needs action from you, and not every grant is urgent. Agencies fall into a few groups:
  • Required before we can file: Grant these promptly, or the filing is blocked.
  • Required for amendments and tax notices: Not needed for a normal filing, but needed the moment an amendment, refile, or agency notice comes up.
  • Optional: Not required to file or resolve notices, but granting it lets Check see your rates, balances, and history directly, which usually means faster answers.
  • No action needed: Check sets these up for you; they’re listed so you know they’re handled.
If your state or agency isn’t listed, no TPA setup is required. If you run into trouble with any of the steps, contact Dripos Payroll at payroll@dripos.com and we’ll walk through it with you.

Required Before We Can File

Grant these as soon as you can. Until the grant is in place, filings with these agencies are blocked.

For these agencies, Check establishes access for you, usually through an enrollment file or a signed Power of Attorney completed during onboarding. No portal action is required on your end:
  • Arkansas - Division of Workforce Services (AR SUI)
  • Connecticut - Paid Leave (CT PFML)
  • Florida - Dept. of Revenue (FL SUI)

You’ll need your Sign-on ID and Access Code (both are all numbers and are different from your company’s user ID login). You should have received these in a letter from the agency at registration. If you don’t have them, call the agency at 334-242-1170 and request they be emailed to you.

  2. Set Allowed = Yes (confirm when prompted).

This is a Power of Attorney-based authorization, not a portal TPA grant, and it’s required for amendments. Check files WA L&I on your behalf and no portal action is needed from you, but a few things must line up:
  • Check’s authorized POA must be on file with the agency.
  • Your configured Experience Factor and Risk Class Codes must match agency records.
  • If your L&I EIN or PAC Code shows as “Applied For,” that’s flagged as a blocker until the actual values exist.
  • Confirm your UBI and PAC Code directly with the agency if an invalid data error comes up (the PAC Code is a secret code Check can’t retrieve for you).
To expedite, you can submit the completed WA L&I POA directly to the agency at QuarterlyFiling@Lni.wa.gov or fax 360-902-6787.
Provide Check’s legal details to the agency where needed:
  • Legal Name: Check Technologies, Inc.
  • EIN: 83-4490700

No Action Needed (Check Sets These Up)

For these, Check establishes access for you, typically through a signed Power of Attorney from onboarding or an enrollment file. No portal action is required:
  • Alaska - Labor and Workforce Development (AK SUI)
  • Maryland - Beacon (MD SUI) (an optional portal method is also available below)
  • Montana - Dept. of Labor (MT SUI)
  • Ohio - Eric (OH SUI) (an optional portal method is also available below)
  • Oregon - Employment Department (Oregon Combined)
If an agency requires a Power of Attorney, it must be signed by an owner/officer to be accepted. If it wasn’t, the existing form is removed and you’ll be asked to sign a new one at your next payroll.

Optional

These aren’t required to file or to resolve notices. Granting access lets Check see your rates, balances, payment history, and return detail directly, which usually means faster answers and fewer questions back to you.
