Dripos Fundraisers allow shop owners to raise money for causes they care about by prompting patrons on if they’d like to round up or donate a custom amount on each order.

Fundraisers are created on the Web Dashboard and are only accessible on the Point of Sale.

Creating Fundraisers

To get started creating your first fundraiser, navigate to your Web Dashboard and click on Marketing > Fundraisers. That should take you to a page that looks like this:

Click on Add Fundraiser in the top right corner, and that should bring up this modal:

Name: This is the name of the fundraiser you’re creating.

Icon: You can upload an image that will be displayed on the Point of Sale when the fundraiser pop-up shows up.

Fundraiser Start / End: This is the date and time range the fundraiser will be active for.

Once you’ve filled out these fields, click Save. You’ve successfully created your first fundraiser!

Utilizing Fundraisers

Utilizing Fundraisers on the Point of Sale

Once you’ve created a fundraiser with a date range that covers the current period, you should be able to see that fundraiser in your checkout flow on the Point of Sale.

Simply add product(s) to cart, and click Charge.

Once you select your Ticket Type on the next screen (if applicable), the next screen should display the fundraiser pop up!

This pop up shows on the Point of Sale side only, so your employees will need to be trained to ask the patron which option they’d like to select.

Round Up: This option automatically rounds up the transaction to the nearest dollar. Custom Amount: You can enter a custom amount to be added on to the transaction. No Donation: No donation will be added to the transaction.

How Donations are Displayed on Transactions

Once an option has been selected, you may notice that donation listed as an additional line item on the Transactions tab of the Point of Sale.

View & Audit Fundraisers

To see how much your fundraiser has raised, simply click back into the fundraiser’s page under Marketing > Fundraisers > (Specific Fundraiser). That page should look something like this:

Here you can see Amount Raised, which simply sums all the donations collected. We do not break out this number anywhere else in Dripos reports at this time. Money collected from the fundraiser will be paid out through your normal Stripe payouts, not separated.
