Utilizing Fundraisers
Utilizing Fundraisers on the Point of Sale
Once a fundraiser is created with a date range covering the current period, that fundraiser will become part of the checkout flow on the Point of Sale.
Simply add product(s) to cart, and click Charge.
Once you select your Ticket Type on the next screen (if applicable), the next screen will display the fundraiser pop up!
This pop up currently only shows on the Point of Sale side, so employees will need to be trained to ask the patron which option they’d like to select.
Fundraisers will appear on card readers for patrons to see in early 2025, please stay tuned for this update.
Round Up: This option automatically rounds up the transaction to the nearest dollar. Custom Amount: You can enter a custom amount to be added on to the transaction. No Donation: No donation will be added to the transaction.
How Donations are Displayed on Transactions
When an fundraiser amount has been selected during checkout, that donation will be listed as an additional line item on the Transactions tab of the Point of Sale.
View & Audit Fundraisers
Donations collected from the fundraiser will be paid out through your daily Stripe payouts.
To see how much your fundraiser has raised, simply click back into the fundraiser’s page under Marketing > Fundraisers > (Specific Fundraiser).
Here you can see Amount Raised, the total donations collected.
