Dripos Customer Chats allow you to text your patrons directly from the Web Dashboard and Point of Sale.

Sending Messages

To get started with messaging customers from the Point of Sale, click on the left side menu and click Messages.

It should take you to a page that looks like this. To send your first message, click New Message.

Then enter the customer phone number, and click Start.

That should take you to the chat’s page, which should look like this.

Type your message, and click the blue arrow icon to send!

Receiving Messages

When you receive messages from patrons on your point of sale, you’ll notice that a red dot appears next to your messages tab on the left side menu. It should look like this:

Click into the Messages tab, and you’ll see the unread message with a preview on the left side. The number of unread messages will show up in the blue circle.

Click on the tab to open up the chat:

To respond, type your message and click the blue arrow icon.

Sending Messages

To get started with messaging customers from the web dashboard, navigate to Operations > Customer Chats.

Then, click New Message and a modal that looks like this will pop up:

Enter the desired phone number and click Open to open that chat.

Then, click Send Text and enter your message into the modal that appears below. Click Send to send your message.

Managing Conversations

From the Chats page, you can also close the chat or quickly access that patron’s page.

Click Close Chat to close the chat and click View Patron to access that patron’s profile page.
