Employee Pin Protected Settings

You are able to pin protect multiple settings on your Dripos Point of Sale to limit access to only a select group of employees. Only permitted employees will be able to access these settings upon entering their employee pin.

Through this feature, you are able to pin protect access to: edit mode, using discounts, the tax toggle, the POS settings page, and the POS app as a whole. You can grant employees access to these settings through the Dripos Web Dashboard.

Pin Protect POS Settings on the Web Dashboard

1. Log on to the Web Dashboard. Once signed in, click on the Dripos Logo in the top right corner > Settings:

2. Select the Employee Management tab at the top of the page > click Edit:

3. A pop up will appear where you can pin protect the following POS features: Tax Toggle, Edit Mode, Settings Page, Discounts, and Refunds.

4. If you would like to enable pin protect for any of these settings, set their respective fields to yes:

5. Once you have finished making your selections, click Save:

Pin Protect your Point of Sale Device on the POS

1. Log on to the Point of Sale. Once signed in, click on the 3 line icon at the top left of the screen > select the gear icon in the bottom right corner:

2. Select the Register Settings tab:

3. To pin protect the register and point of sale device as a whole, turn the Employee Pin Protect Point of Sale toggle on:

4. Once you have quit and restarted the app, the POS device will automatically be pin protected:

5. If you choose to enable this setting, you can also have the Employee Protection Auto Logout by inputting your desired amount of time, in minutes:

Pin Protect the Point of Sale

You can designate which employees you want to have access to: edit mode, using discounts, the tax toggle, the POS settings page, and the POS as a whole.

Grant Employees Access to Pin Protected Settings on the Web Dashboard

1. Log on to the Web Dashboard. Once signed in, click Team > My Team > select the Roles tab on the far right:

2. Locate the role you wish to grant access to > click Edit:

3. Once on the role’s page, select the Permissions tab at the bottom:

4. Locate the Team row under the Area column > click Edit:

5. If you would like to provide employees under the role with access to the pin protected Tax Toggle, Edit Mode, Settings Page, or Discounts on the POS, turn their respective toggles on:

6. Once you have made your selections, click Save:

7. If you would like to provide employees under the role with the ability to provide refunds, locate the Sales row under the Area column > click Edit:

8. Turn the Refunds toggle on and click Save:

Employees attached to this role will then automatically be able to access any of your selected POS settings upon entering their employee pin.
